Waiting for Spring

Waiting for spring to burst forth is getting a bit tedious this year.  But last fall I started some little succulents.  These babies have only seen the sun through a glass window.  In a month or so they will get their first taste of fresh air, sun, wind, rain.  But today they are helping me fend off the blahs here in the house.  So green, so perfect.  They remind me that spring will indeed come.  And when it does, we'll be ready, my little succulents and me.

And then of course there's always somebody who wants to make sure you don't get too euphoric.  Oh, I do feel sorry for you, lonely duck egg.  And there just might be someone who could take you under her wing (literally) if you can just hang on.  Stay whole and know that someone does care.
Someone knows you are there.

And now back to the program.
