Sitting at the dining room table wanting to read while I eat breakfast. In front of me is a copy of the Wall Street Journal. Well, what kind of enchantment could I find there? Likely, none. Just reports about money, stocks, world conflicts. Not very enchanting and not a very positive way to start the day. Oh look, here's a picture of some people being sworn in as American citizens. One in the front row looks just like Hilary Clinton on one of her bad hair days. Can't be her surely. On to Mali, drones, executions in Iran. Pretty gruesome and not at all enchanting. But wait! What is this? Right on the front page? Grown men playing tag? Does enchantment really still live in the everyday lives of grown ups with real jobs and responsibilities? If the Wall Street Journal says so, it must be true. So here's the link to the story. I hope you enjoy it, and---- Tag, You're It!

What a great story. Thanks for sharing. Although, I think most people are capable of a good sense of humor if they let themselves.
ReplyDeleteSo true. If they let themselves. I am constantly surprised when I get to talking to everyday regular working people, that they so often have a creative outlet. It may not be harmless mayhem, like in this story, but something that allows them an escape from the everyday worries of bills and responsibilities. Something that should really be encouraged in all. Glad you liked it, Chris.
