A Satisfactory Day
I know that the days are numbered.  I know I should enjoy each and every day.  But every day doesn't have to be stupendous.  It would probably get tiring.  Laugh face would start to hurt my smiling muscles.  Too much oxygen might get to my brain.  Who knows.  But I don't want to waste any days either.  At the end of a day, if you look back at it and can say you had a satisfactory day, I think that's reasonable.  But what makes a satisfactory day?  A day that gives you a sense of fulfillment when it's done, I suppose.  So many days, and luckily so many ways.

A day when you remembered to smile

A day when you felt you hair looked perfect

Or you just felt pretty
It's very satisfactory to get to take a nap

And to fall asleep with a good book makes it even better
A day when you can conquer a fear is a very satisfactory day

And when you know you got all the notes just right, the day feels great too.

Being the first to try something new can be very satisfying

And at the end of the day if you feel you have all your ducks in a row, it's just that much easier to fall off to sleep.
Even a day when you realize that sometimes when you get what you were after, well, there can be a whole new set of problems.

The day you find a tasty substitute for gluten
Any day you feel powerful, always very satisfying

A day when you just look at things from another point of view

Of course those days when you make a new friend are magic
And the more, the merrier.  The more satisfying-er!

A day when you find a new place to get fresh produce, deliciously satisfying
Knowing that you took the time to really listen to someone,  that's quite a good day

The day you realize when you finally meet the monster, you are more enchanted than afraid

Knowing you did a good day's work, very satisfying

And just knowing that in this crazy, strange world, there is a place where you feel you fit in
