The heat, the humidity, well, it didn't seem to matter to the garden

I went out early to water the new tree and all the plants transplanted last week.  It's supposed to rain tonight, so everybody else will have to wait a bit.  Then I noticed a few lovely day lilies.   So I had to take their picture.  And then that ornamental maple caught my eye, and then a fern, and then a coral bell.  If it wasn't for the combination of heat and humidity that caused some wayward drops of sweat to fall into my eyes destroying my ability to focus, I'd probably be out there still.
