I love looking in shop windows. Of some shops anyway. This one in particular.
Thatched cottage. We're not in Minneapolis anymore.
Do they call it a cottage when it's big enough for subdivision?
Life is abundant here. Even the walls are green and growing.
Couldn't resist taking a photo of someone's back garden.
Gardens, flowers, thatched cottages. Yum. The Cotswolds. It's amazing to see how accepting the people are of the way things are. How they don't widen the streets or tear down the old buildings. A treasure that is really being preserved. Even if you need to back up or pull way over to let cars pass on the narrow, narrow lanes made for horses and carts, not cars and trucks. A little inconvenience to preserve something really incredible.
we have to do window boxes like that, and build a bridge over the front walk for the pond to go under, and make a moss garden. learn from what your seeing so we can add a touch of it to your garden. luvluvluv, a.
